No Capes!

Das hat man nun davon, dass man sich brav auf einmal täglich Posten beschränkt, um nicht den ganzen Tag die armen Leser vollzulabern. IT&W hat die Liste mit den angeblich 100 schönsten Filmzitaten gestern schon veröffentlicht und sich auch noch schamlos darüber gefreut, mir zuvor gekommen zu sein. Mir bleibt daher nur, auf völlig zu Unrecht vergessene Zitate aufmerksam zu machen:

    Ntürlich aus “Blade Runner” und bitte aus dem Original mit der knödeligen Stimme aus dem Off und nicht dem Sinn-verhohnepiepelnden “Director’s Cut”.
    Da gibt es natürlich auch ein weiteres Zitat aus diesem Film, das mir unverzichtbar scheint:
    “Too bad that she won’t live. But then again…who does?”
    bzw. für die nicht-Englischsprachigen:
    “Schade, dass sie nicht leben wird, aber egal…wer tut das schon?”
    Eigentlich (und uneigentlich auch) ist dieser Film gespickt mit Zitaten grandioser Art.

    die liste zeigt die vermeintlich besten quotes von American movies, wobei American bedeutet, dass diese “significant creative and/or financial production elements from the US” haben (so kommen dann auch die James Bond movies unter und die ganzen bollywood produktionen fallen raus…)

    nur in der überschrift über der liste war natürlich das “American” weggelassen…

    deshalb noch ein paar nicht-amerikanische zitate:

  20. Ich bin ja immer beeindruckt, das es Menschen gibt, die sich quasi auf filmzitatisch unterhalten können. Ich kann mir sowas nie merken.
    Allerdings hab ich das Zitat aus “The Negotiator” sofort wieder erkannt. Ich muss jedesmal lachen, wenn ich diese Szene sehe. Und ich fand’s ziemlich cool, Spaceys Charakter auf die Weise einzuführen, wie es dort gemacht wurde. Auch die Tatsache, dass der Mann die Hälfte des Films in einem Ski Outfit rumläuft, und dabei nicht im geringsten lächerlich wirkt, ist bemerkenswert.
